Jupiter in your sign and your 4th house opposes Uranus in Aries on the 2nd. Family and partnership matters could leave you indecisive and changing your mind a lot today. Whatever you are trying to figure out around family, your spouse, a lover or a potential partner, it’s hard to decide one way or the other.
This month your ruler, Venus will retrograde from the 4th March through to April 15th. That’s going to put a lot of your romantic focus on where the little things are letting you down, or could be done better. Venus starts out the retrograde in Aries and your 7th house of partnerships. Again this could see you feeling unsure, on the fence or perhaps someone is not able to commit to something you are asking for. While the 7th house does rule all sorts of partnerships including love and marriage, it also is about business partnerships. A collaborative project could be plagued with indecision, stopping and starting or disagreement about what the look of the thing should be. In romantic relationships you may sit back to see how things play out, or find that someone is sitting back from you trying to work out what you are about.
Mars enters Taurus on the 9th, your 8th house of endings, transformation, legal contracts and sex. You could be putting a lot of your efforts into closing off a project, negotiating an agreement, or find your passion towards someone burning very hot. A Full moon in Virgo on the 12th falls in your 12th house of privacy, solitude, rest and things that happen secretly or out of public view. This one will team up with the Sun in Pisces and your 6th house. You could be putting a lot of effort into finalizing a personal project or goal, or quietly celebrating an achievement that you don’t necessarily feel comfortable broadcasting to the world. This moon also works with Pluto in your 4th house of family and could see you spending some quiet time with your nearest and dearest. One thing to watch is communication issues or a problem with one of your siblings as the moon clashes with Saturn in your 3rd house. Perhaps you need to provide guidance to someone around the need for privacy, or you are asked to be discreet.
Mercury enters Aries on the 13th, in your 7th house of partnerships. It’s easy to collaborate, or to talk about your feelings, or understand someone else’s. In business and in love the conversation is free flowing and stimulating. The Sun also moves into Aries from the 20th and this puts the annual spotlight on your partnerships with other people. You look closely at the quality of these relationships, or become clearer about what you want from them, or what you need to give to them to help them thrive.
Then on the 27th a New Moon in Aries signals a new beginning or a whole new chapter in an important partnership. Venus and the Sun join this moon in your 7th house. Venus is still retrograde now, so you’re thinking deeply about how you are going to make things work, or what needs to be done to get this next phase going. Saturn clashes with this moon, which could bring up issues around communication with a partner, a sibling. Don’t fall into any traps where you question someone’s maturity or try to tell them the right way to do something. Be understanding of whatever a partner has to say today and it’s also been reasonable of you to expect the same from them.
Jupiter and Pluto clash on the 30th and this cause an issue for you related to family. You could be desperately trying to find some balance in a family matter, but find that someone else is immovable or so stuck in an outdate approach that they can’t see the folly of what they are doing. Mercury will enter Taurus on the 31st, your 8th house. It’s important to be aware that Mercury will retrograde from the 9th April and the effects will already be in play. Don’t sign contracts or make large purchases. You could find already that a romantic relationship is hitting a speed bump because your physical or mental needs are at odds. You may come on too strong, or not strong enough. It will be hard for you to find a balance. Perhaps self-doubt or confusion holds you back from expressing your passion.
4th - 10th July
You have no shortage of confidence this week, but you could end up running out of time to achieve a bid to do list that you’ve set for yourself. Your family and your career are of equal importance to you, and if anyone can balance the two out it’s you. Just don’t overdo the balancing act trying to prove a point. Fortune is in Libra on the 4th and 5th and being confident and forthright gives you the lucky break you have been hoping for. With Juno also in Libra for most of this week, confidence in love pays off.
Please check back tomorrow
There is a lot going on for you romantically in the first 4 months of the year. We see love take up less of your focus from mid April, until early August, and then another burst of romantic aspects during August. The remainder of the year has you concentrating on your family and a romantic or business partner.
From February 6th until early June, Jupiter will retrograde in Libra. This will begin in your 5th house and make anything related to romance, your children or creativity feel as though it is going in slow motion in February. In March family will be your focus and you have the opportunity to think more about how you can get more from this area of your life.
There are two pairs of eclipses this year and three of the eclipses will have an impact on your romantic life, your children, or a creative endeavour you are undertaking. The first eclipse is a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Leo, February 10th in your 11th house of friendship. This eclipse joins with Jupiter in your 5th house and may see you emphasising the importance of friendship in your existing romantic relationship, perhaps looking to develop that aspect of your lives together. Singles may meet someone through friends, or develop a romantic relationship with a friend. Partnership and communication are also happily all going your way with this eclipse and partners can offer up a delightful surprise and plenty of fun.
In early March, Jupiter and Uranus are in opposition and family and partnership is on your mind. Again a partner delights you or has unexpected but delightful things to say. Alternatively, you are the one who surprises a partner. At the end of March we see an issue in your family life with Jupiter and Pluto clashing in your 4th house. You could feel as though a family member is ripping the carpet out from under you, or find that a situation with your home is going to require a lot more effort from you. Whatever is happening now can come up again at the Libra full moon, April 11th, again in your 4th house. Pluto and this moon clash, and your partner could be the one to smooth things over. Opening yourself up to change, or possibly looking at renegotiating the terms of a contract, such as a real estate sale or purchase could be in order. If you do need to do this, try to get the terms extended or go for a long settlement, as Mercury is retrograde in Taurus. If you make the commitment today it may need a do over, or there are issues with what you are buying or doing for family that will see you having to go back over this ground again in the future.
Uranus retrogrades in Aries, August 3rd in your 7th house of partnership. Over the last half of the year, partnerships are going to be important, but you won’t get as much of the emotional up and down that has happened due to constant surprises or changes. The next eclipse focused on your romantic life, is a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius, August 7th. This one works with the Sun and Moon in your 11th house of friends and Jupiter in your 12th house of privacy and behind the scenes. Are you in an intimate situation with a friend? Perhaps a smaller gathering with friends such as a dinner party, brings someone new into your life who sparks an interest in you instantly.
If you started a relationship with a friend back at the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in February, has it become more serious and intense? Creatively, you may be working on a project with a friend or a close collaborator and if so you could finish it off around this Full Moon or be seeing results that you like. The final eclipse for the year occurs 14 days later with a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Leo and your 11th house of friends. Perhaps a new chapter is beginning now with a friend, or you may be meeting lots of new people that you share a common goal with, or will be working closely with over the coming months. 7 days later, on August 27th, Jupiter and Saturn makes friendship extremely rewarding or lucky for you, particularly in communication, or if you are taking a short trip with friends to somewhere not too far from home.
A full moon in Aries, your 7th house in early October, can bring some tension in close romantic or business partnerships. Though it’s more likely that business or work issues come to a head today. The year finishes with you wrapped up in family life and thinking about those who are closest to you. Saturn will enter Capricorn December 19th, for a three year stay in your 4th house of family. There is much to learn over these years about what family means to you, about how to make family more of a priority, or perhaps if you’ve not done so yet, to cut the cord and learn to stand on your own two feet.
With Capricorn there is foundation building, old-fashioned values, structure and discipline. Perhaps it will affect how you are bringing up your children, or learning more from the older members of your family. Venus enters Capricorn on Christmas Day, which is entirely appropriate at a time when we all return to family, or celebrate with the family we have created.
Are you feeling a little bit fed up with your workload this year? Taking a break for some reason and putting other things first? Until mid June, there is virtually no big career or business aspects happening in 2017, so I do wonder if Librans have something else happening for the first half of the year, which is preoccupying their minds, or taking up more of their time?
The first we see career and business matters become a bigger priority is the New Moon in cancer, June 23rd. It’s a cracking way to start too with the moon, Mercury, the Sun, Saturn and Uranus all working for you to get career and business going for the six months ahead. Partnership is important and could be a delightful surprise, and communication is smooth. You may also find yourself taking a trip over a short distance now to get new business or to further your career.
Then at the end of July, Venus enters Cancer and ensures that you make a good impression with important people and clients. Just watch you aren’t overly sensitive about what happens at work now, make the effort to not take things personally. Love, socialising and your friendships are occupying your time in August, and we don’t see you putting work first again until mid September when the Sun enters your sign. Partnership is important now, so you could be working in a venture with someone else, or are splitting work with someone to make your life easier.
Mercury enters your sign late September, and because you have a lot of money aspects in October you could be working with people who are overseas, foreigners or putting a lot of effort into study in order to get a job that will pay you more money. Mars enters your sign and your 10th house in mid October, and this should light a rocket under your efforts to get ahead professionally. A long time coming given you’ve been so caught up with love and family for most of the year.
Thoughts of money occupy your mind, before you even start thinking about career matters this year. But once again it’s not playing a big part in your thinking until almost mid year. A full moon in Scorpio, your 2nd house in early May gives you some tangible evidence that efforts you’ve been putting into your finances over the last six months are starting to pay off. There could be a contract to sign now, or you may find the way you think about money is starting to change.
Jupiter turns direct in your sign in early June, in your 2nd house of money. Two weeks later the New Moon in Cancer is all about your career, so there could be more money coming to you as a result of your job, or you find new ways to make money and start working on them at this new moon. Finances then take a back seat while you are wrapped up in a romance, and doing more with family.
It’s not until early October when Jupiter finally leaves your sign and moves into Scorpio, that we see money aspects take off again. Jupiter will be in your 2nd house from October 10th until late 2018 and this helps you to bring in more money and transform your financial situation. Mercury enters Scorpio mid October and is followed soon after by a new Moon in your sign and your 2nd house.
There is a lot of discussion or negotiation around money, or you are using your communication skills to increase your fortunes. This is also the time to set new goals around money for the coming six months. The Sun follows straight after the new moon and Mercury when it enters Scorpio and your 2nd house. You also have Mars in your sign and your 10th house of career, so you are actively doing things professionally to get more money.
Venus comes along in early November and then we see another new moon, this time in Scorpio and your 2nd house in mid November. It’s all about getting more money, or doing more with what you have at your disposal. There could be a number of avenues you are pursuing to increase your bank balance. One of the standout days for you money wise comes December 2nd, when Jupiter and Neptune team up to see your hard work and daily effort pay off. Mars enters Scorpio and your 2nd house early the following week so you are finishing off 2017 and entering 2018 doing your best to grow your material wealth.
