After hearing about Cool Sculpting I thought it sounded a bit too good to be true, so I had to try it for myself.
I had a new lady start at work and in the initial getting to know you conversation she asked me “what are your hobbies?” I was at a complete loss. I couldn’t think of one hobby I had. I mean what is a hobby anyway? Something that fills your time, something you do with friends?
I have been slightly amused with reading the responses to kids asking their parents to give/borrow money for house deposits. Surprisingly all negative.
Having a strained relationship with my own mother, I thought it would be interesting to see how others perceive the influence their mothers had on them, to help guide and direct the course they have taken in their lives. It shows that not all mother/child relationships are ideal but as a daughter and a mother, I think from reading these stories it has made me realise that everyone is different.
Anyone who works with me knows I find gardening with my son challenging at times…… don’t get me wrong, he has a very keen interest in gardening and as part of after school care activities he has the opportunity to go to the community garden.
The first thing I did once I got my hands on the book was to go straight to the end to find out how much it would cost to travel around the world for a year. This is an important factor for anyone intending to start a long journey. I will admit this number did shock me at first, but when you factor everything in, it actually seems very reasonable, and achievable.
